Services Your Child Needs
Under One Roof
Right around the corner from Aledo and Weatherford, Dr. Robert Casey Stroud and Dr. Michael Ball and their team offer a wide array of dental services in Willow Park, TX that meet all of your child’s oral care needs. Regardless of the treatment you’re looking for, whether it’s a basic cleaning and exam, restorative solutions for damaged teeth, special needs dentistry, or care for a dental emergency, our dental office always provides high quality treatment and patient care.
Our comprehensive preventive treatments help you protect your child’s oral development well into adulthood. Restorative treatments for both their tooth, pulp, and nerves help us save natural smiles, rather than simply extracting teeth and moving on. Even if your child has a fear of dentistry, our calming techniques and friendly dentists will make their next visit a positive experience every time. To schedule your child’s very first appointment, you can call Stroud Pediatric Dentistry today. We can’t wait to meet you and your family soon!
My Child Needs a Checkup & Cleaning
As soon as your child’s teeth begin to erupt, you’ll need to make sure that they are protected from harmful cavity-causing bacteria. While at-home brushing and flossing are a major part of that process, so is maintaining routine checkups and cleanings at our office once every six months. This gives us a chance to not only catch and remove plaque and tartar from their developing smiles, but to also make sure that their baby teeth are erupting properly and teach them important oral care techniques.
My Child Has a Chipped or Broken Tooth
Even with the best at-home oral care, teeth can still become damaged and put their oral health at risk. In the event one of their teeth are chipped, broken, or damaged either from an injury or decay, our office can provide them a strong and durable restoration designed to last an incredibly long time. They may also benefit from pulpotomies and tooth-colored dental fillings, both of which can save the natural tooth and reduce the need for an extraction.
My Child Has Special Needs
All children deserve dental care that is comfortable and comprehensive, no matter what their needs may be. At Stroud Pediatric Dentistry, we always provide accommodations for children who have special needs. Before you arrive, we ask that you call our office ahead of time so that we can provide the best services possible. We also encourage you to learn more about our sedation options if you believe that your child will need them going forward.
My Child is Nervous or Afraid of the Dentist
Many children fear going to the dentist at first, but once they have a chance to get to know the dentists and team members at the practice, we’re sure that they’ll come around. Of course, we understand that some patients need a little extra help to get certain treatments completed, which is why we offer calming sedation dentistry, in addition to a kid-friendly environment, to make their care all the more comfortable. We provide nitrous oxide for routine restorative appointment, as well as IV sedation and general anesthesia for those with extreme levels of fear or anxiety.
My Child Has a Dental Emergency
Accidents happen, especially when your youngest family members love to play contact sports like football or basketball. When a dental emergency occurs, the last thing you should do is assume the issue will get better on its own. At our office, we can get your child out of discomfort and on the path towards restorative treatment, whether it requires a dental crown, a pulpotomy, or another restorative treatment. The sooner you contact our office, the better. We’ll do everything we can to try and see your child the same day a true emergency appears.
